Coronavirus, Rotavirus, Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia, and Escherichia coli K99 are all pathogens that can cause gastrointestinal infections in humans. 
Coronaviruses can cause mild to severe respiratory illness, as well as gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The current coronavirus outbreak has also been associated with gastrointestinal symptoms in some patients. 
Rotavirus is a common cause of severe diarrhea in young children and infants. It spreads easily through contaminated food, water, or surfaces, and can lead to dehydration, hospitalization, and sometimes death.
Cryptosporidium is a parasite that causes diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever. It can be transmitted through contaminated water, food, or contact with infected animals or people. 
Giardia lamblia is another parasite that can cause diarrhea, cramps, and weight loss. It is typically transmitted through contaminated water or food, and is common in outdoor settings such as camping or hiking areas.
Escherichia coli K99 is a strain of E. coli that can cause diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever. It is commonly found in cattle and other livestock, and can spread to humans through consumption of contaminated food or water.

INTENDED USE
The Bovine CORO-ROTA-CRYP-GIAR-EK99 Ag Combo Rapid Test is a rapid diagnostic tool for detecting bovine coronavirus antigen, bovine rotavirus antigen, bovine Cryptosporidium antigen, bovine Giardia antigen and Escherichia coli K99 antigen.
Symptoms of young cattle infected with bovine coronavirus, bovine rotavirus, Cryptosporidium bovis, Giardia bovis and
Escherichia coli K99 are similar, which can cause diarrhea and dehydration in the sick cattle. This product uses immunochromatographic experiments on cow's solid part of feces samples to quickly detect whether young cows are infected with the five diseases during the early stages of bovine diarrhea (within 3-5 days of diarrhea).
PRINCIPLE
The Bovine CORO-ROTA-CRYP-GIAR-EK99 Ag Combo Rapid Test uses rapid immunochromatographic technology to detect CORO, ROTA, CRYP, GIAR and EK99 antigens. After adding the diluted sample to the sample hole of the test paper card, if there is CORO, ROTA, CRYP, GIAR or EK99 antigen in the sample, the antigen will specifically bind to the colloidal gold-labeled anti-CORO, ROTA, CRYP, GIAR or EK99 monoclonal antibody. The formed complex moves along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the corresponding monoclonal antibody pre-coated on the chromatographic membrane, forming a wine-red detection line at the position of the test line. If there is no CORO, ROTA, CRYP, GIAR or EK99 antigen in the sample, no visible lines will be formed at the T position. In addition, a C line used to verify the validity of the experiment is also designed in the system. Regardless of negative or positive results, the line should be colored, otherwise the result is deemed invalid.

Principle- Sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay



TEST PROCEDURE 

- Collect cattle's fresh whole blood, serum or plasma specimen for use. Immediately apply the testing once collected the specimen.
- Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
- Place 1 drop (approx. 20μL) of serum or plasma specimen or milk into an assay buffer tube. Mix well and directly use in the assay.
Place 2-3 drops of assay buffer into the sample hole of the test card.
- Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.
